Another Brand of Gum. Please Chew and Enjoy.

Life should not be looked at something that is fair. But at the same time, it is not unfair. Our fairness is a perception of what we think a person deserves (either good or bad), usually based on how they have lived their life and treated others. In actuality, life isn’t based on these social rules; it is based on physical laws. Fairness is simply based on the perceptions that are only in our minds. Our bodies and minds are complex and incredible systems that have been developed through millions of years of evolution. The rational and reasoning that humans have is unparallel to any life-forms here on our Earth.

Absolutely with you on the perception and that we are systems evolved over time. There is an article in the New Yorker (http://www.newyorker.com/critics/content/articles/060227crbo_books) this last week about how feeling happy (of all things) is genetic, our perception of ourselves, the limits we set for ourselves as contented individuals, are biochemical and thusly evolutionary. It’s almost comforting, like, there’s nothing you can do so just enjoy however much you can.

    Bizou.
